It’s that time of year again when you might be upgrading a winter coat, realising that you no longer fit in your favourite jumper, or notice that your wardrobe is just too full to find anything! Whatever the reason, almost all of us have some winter clothing that we just don’t wear any more.
According to the UK’s Combined Homeless Information Network, around 7,500 people slept on the streets of London last year – more than double the number when Thorgills was founded ten years ago.
Every year we at Thorgills donate clothing to local homeless support centres throughout West London, and we would greatly appreciate your support.
We are asking our West London neighbours to search their wardrobes for any wearable warm winter clothing and drop them in to any of our four branches throughout November. We will then deliver them to homeless support groups in West London throughout December.
Last year you made a massive difference and we would love for even more people to donate this November. Our Thorgills team have already begun collecting – please help us to provide even more clothing than last year!
You can drop off your old winter woollies at any Thorgills branch.
