Over the last three months we have achieved so much in what is normally a quiet time of the year. Business levels have been great, we continue to attract new clients and maintain existing relationships, meaning we are offering a fantastic selection of properties to the ever growing private rented sector. Aside from business being good, we have achieved much more…
I'm proud to report that this month Thorgills received our accreditation from Investors in People. The Investors in people award is based around a standard framework of best practice within any given business. To be accredited you must be offering staff the highest level of training and guidance, ensuring all work undertaken is completed to the highest standard. Receiving such a great award can only be good news for our staff and customers, as it confirms we are providing the very best training and driving forward great service levels from our teams.
A month ago Daniel Madden and Sean Barrett, Branch Managers at Chiswick and Ealing respectively completed the AgeUK 10k fun run. A fantastic cause that takes care of the elderly and vulnerable, especially through long, cold winters. They completed the run on a bitterly cold Sunday morning, in Captain Thorgills fancy dress and raised over £750. A fine achievement for a very worthy cause. The new for 2013 'Thorgills Pride of West London' Award has been very well received by the local community. As we celebrate five year in business servicing the lettings needs of the local community, we decided it was time to give something back. Every month in 2013 Thorgills will select one member of the local community who has shown exceptional community spirit. They will be rewarded with the much pivoted 'Thorgills Pride of West London' certificate and make a donation of £100 to a charity of their choice.
This month also saw both Thorgills Branches shortlisted as top 10 Lettings Agents in the London Region of the Estate & Letting Agent Awards (The ESTAS). The ESTAS determines the best letting agents in the country through questionnaires completed by customers regarding the service they have received. Having received such a strong level of responses from our clients, we have also been shortlisted as a top 5 Lettings Agent in the national small chain award. We are very proud just to have been shortlisted for such a wonderful award, a real mark of customer service and quality of our work.
With such a productive first few months to the year it would be easy to take a break, but I'm pleased to say we will soon be offering an even wider selection of services. Currently our strengths lie in our specialist lettings ability, and soon that will be extended further afield to encompass a wider Lettings market and offer clients all the services they need under one roof. Watch this space for more details.
As the private rented sector grows and becomes a more viable option then home ownership, selecting the right Letting Agent is key. If you require any advice whatsoever please contact your local Thorgills Branch. Remember we are voluntary members of both the National Landlords Association and the Property Ombudsman, so our work is always carried out to the highest standards.
